The Eastlunds host their annual Swedish Christmas-morning get-together.
Our cozy Christmas snacks and sunrise get-together with the saints at North Isanti Baptist Church started later than normal. Organizers Rob and Janis Eastlund hosted the event in their “summer kitchen.” Fruit soup, herring, thin bread, bars, cookies and coffee were plentiful.
Rob said people used to ask how early the Christmas morning event would start. Now people are asking how ‘late’ the event goes to. Regardless, a lot of people made it out for food and fellowship in the small cabin.
