Protein bowls

Just gave our ewes their extra protein-packed breakfast as they get ready to lamb. Mimosa, the sheep in the foreground, looks most ready to go -- though it's a learning experience to estimate birth dates. 

I’m alternating between 50# bags of oats and barley I get for about $15 each at the feed mill. Here’s a handful of barley:

Following the Boaz instructions, I usually drop some of the grain on the ground for the chickens (Ruth 2:15-16). :)
